Haven't been posting much because I've been busily trying to catch up on editing. Latest and greatest was eight sets of Gods Girls photos of my beautiful pal, Apnea, and a new model named Swindle.This particular GG shoot was unique in that the entire crew was kinky (that'd be me, Pia doing makeup, and Miss Conduct assisting). I usually bring wardrobe to GG shoots to augment the mostly casual clothing that the models provide. This time I brought along some of my latex as well. At the beginning of the day, Swindle had snatched the ballet shoes out of the bin and who am I to stand in the way of a young woman's love of the finer things? We set them aside and I promised her that she'd get to wear them.
For GG, we do eight sets per day. I like to save the best for last, something to look forward to, so latex was number eight. What's funny and oh-so telling was that after I gave each model her outfit for the shoot (Swindle got the black and red Polymorphe hood, Mandy my favorite black and white HW hood, both girls in simple garter belts from Syren) they went off to get changed while we were cleaning up, setting up lights, etc. When Mandy walked back in, Pia exclaimed, "NICE!" in this total leering dirty old man way. Miss Conduct and I cracked up laughing while at the same time totally perving out over her. To this day, we still walk up behind Pia and growl "NICE" in her ear. The thing is, none of my team has ever been so affected at a GG shoot. True testament to our utterly pervy natures. I turned to look at them and thought... "You are my people." LOL

And then, I forget that everyone's not like us. I've posted photos of models in latex hoods on some not entirely fetish photo sites and people have left comments like, "Cool but troubling...". It's so funny to hear the reactions of the vanilla world because I'm so mired in the fetish scene, it just doesn't usually occur to me that people would see it as anything but supremely sexy.Copyright © Christine Kessler 2006, all rights reserved. four days in munich and three in berlin find me sitting at tegel airport awaiting my first of two flights. as good a time as i've had, i'm eager to get back home.
i'm really happy to have met my publisher face to face. that's why I added berlin to my itinerary. got a chance to hang out at goliath central on saturday and see some of the new books they are putting out in addition to mine.
yesterday was sunday and most stores are closed. we did, however, go to a few flea markets. at the last one I totally scored a vintage violet wand with a shitload of odd-shaped bulbs all in a handy-dandy suitcase. the seller didn't know what it was and I consequently got it for dirt cheap. of course, now i'm no longer travelling light. lol

Been driving since late last night. Went from London to France to Belgium. Currently at a rest stop in The Netherlands on our way to Miss Conduct's first of many shoots in Germany.
We had a packed weekend of parties, clubs and shopping. Rubber Ball was a blast but more on that later. Met with Atsuko Kudo and the people from HW and House of Harlot so I feel as though I actually did some work on this trip. I leave Martin and Miss C. tomorrow for the actual holiday portion of my trip. Weeee! Can't wait.

Martin, Sasha and I went over to the Skin Two Expo this afternoon. The Brits I spoke with weren't too impressed, but I explained to them that at US conventions and events, you barely get many exciting shopping options. It was really a treat to have so many latex designers all in one venue. ..Libidex, Bondinage, NPNG, HW, House of Harlot, Absolute Danny, and so so many more. I really felt like a kid in a candy store.
In addition to the shopping, I was so pleased to finally meet Katie from whatkatiedid.com, and Adam from Virgin's Nexus books. Also ran into some people I hadn't seen in years like Chanta Rose, Morrigan Hell, and Midori.
I think I'll be tagging along tomorrow with Darenzia as she wasn't able to make it today.
Now, it's just a matter of everyone getting ready for the Ball tonight. There's been so much activity that it's taking quite a bit of motivation to keep going. LOL

Darenzia got a late start yesterday, but she finally arrived at the local tube station where Martin, Hazmat and I met up with her. We hoofed it over to Showgirls, the showroom of several latex designers including Inner Sanctum and Atsuko Kudo. I spent hours watching her try on yummy latex. I'm sure you'll be seeing photos of her new Atsuko Kudo outfits in the next couple months. Skin tight and sexy!

Got a text message a couple hours ago that Darenzia had arrived. We all met up with her and N and had lunch at an Asian-y place. It is so great to see them, and even better that we're over here together. It's just gonna get better from here.

nearly missed my flight.. gates changed with no warning. as I finally walked off to figure out what was going on, I overheard the final boarding call for my flight. once we got going. the flight was uneventful.
landed and made it through customs really swiftly before meeting miss c and martin. got settled at sasha's and then went out to a shop called 'coffee cake and kink'.
it's drizzling and cold. we just had a bite to eat and then I think we're off to the tate.
