I had this brilliant idea. When Darenzia arrived last week, I told her that I wanted to shoot her at dawn on one of her days here. So, we went about our business, scheduling, shooting... We decided the best idea was to stay up all night because there's no way we'd get to bed early and THEN get up before dawn. Luckily, Michael Hussar's a known night owl and he agreed to let us shoot at his house. Let me just mention here that a HUGE bonus of commandeering his house is that his gorgeous paintings appear in my photos. (I am so fortunate!)D had an early morning shoot yesterday, arrived back at my place in the afternoon. We did our best to rest up before Jennifer Corona arrived to beat D's face to perfection. Makeup wasn't done til midnight, so this shoot officially started later than any other in my history.
Bob and Evan (not to be confused with Bob Evans) accompanied us over to Chez Hussar and after a minimum of chit chat, Darenzia and I got to work. We shot 3 sets at Michael's before trucking over to the dawn location where Evan held onto D's coat and Bob played lookout. We shot on a bridge spanning over a busy freeway and I was really worried that a hot girl in transparent rubber would cause an accident below.
Poor D. I was really feeling for her. It was fucking COLD out there and she was wearing latex. She's the most professional, balls-to-the-wall model out there. Barely a single complaint escapes her lips as she braves arctic chills for the sake of soft core fetish porno. Ummm... I mean "for art".
Actually, what REALLY made me feel bad for her was the fact that it was overcast and foggy this morning. That meant, she suffered the frigid chill for nothing. No fancy sunrise colors or anything. We could have, in theory, done that shoot at any time.
I have to say that I'm impressed by the results of our efforts. Delirious, sleep deprived, pushing ourselves to the limit, the photos we shot are really beautiful. My favorites are her in the leopard. (I'd been eyeing that ensemble since she arrived.) I had a really hard time choosing just two for the samples.

Yesterday, I had another shoot with Mz Berlin. This time, Darenzia joined us. I feel really fortunate that Berlin was able to get the same location as our last shoot because that day was cut a bit short and that house in the Hollywood Hills is pretty amazing. Even though the girls were in makeup by 9:30am (by the extremely talented Jennifer Corona), and even though we shot until 9pm, I feel that we've barely scratched the surface as far as this location is concerned. Meaning, I hope I get another crack at it in the future.
Despite some off and on drizzle, we had pretty good weather, the house was amazing, and we were cruising along at a good clip, but what really set this day apart was all of the laughter. I don't know why but it was just really funny. As I was going through all of the images this morning, there were so many that I probably won't use in members galleries, but that I HAD to keep because they cracked me up. Maybe I'll have to put together an outtake gallery, but not without model approval. Some silliness is really best kept between just us.
With just one real break for lunch, we flew through the day. We had more to shoot than we had time for, and D and I are shooting again tonight and Thursday, and yet I was happy and surprised to see that we had shot ten sets yesterday! Yay teamwork!

My friend built a new computer for me, so I've been working on setting it up for the last several days. My workflow isn't up to normal standards yet as I keep having to install missing programs. Once everything I use is set up, I'm sure I'll be more productive. It's slow going, but worth it in the long run. I'm really looking forward to video editing on my new system. Sitting around waiting for videos to render really kinda blows.

When I first bought the suit, it didn't have any sort of crotch opening, so I took it to an alterations place (you should have seen the looks on their faces when I put it on the counter. My first book, Pervy Girls, has sold out and I'm onto a new book. With the last one, my publisher and I went round and round about the title until the very last minute. This time, I'd like to get that worked out well in advance and I'm asking for your help. The book will be filled with photos of sexy ladies in stockings, pantyhose, knee-highs, latex stockings, fishnets, etc. They're also wearing high heels, latex, corsets, etc., but the common theme is definitely hosiery.
So, here's what's needed for the title... It must be simple. (I really mean "simple". Nothing esoteric or the publisher won't go for it!) It must reflect the book's content (legs, hosiery, hot girls). It must be something that can be easily understood by book buyers in not only the US, but also Europe (Spain, France, Germany).

LP introduced me to Michael last year (Darenzia had met him in San Francisco) and it was "it's a small world" time as we know a lot of the same people.
When we arrived, I found out that he'd invited a couple of other artists over and they were going to do a live painting session with D as the model. I thought I might video the proceedings and it all got off to a grand start, but I soon realized that it was, literally, as exciting as watching paint dry. LOL So, I beat it out of there with a promise to return later in the week when hang-out time could be rocked in earnest. I heard Darenzia get home after 6am, so I'm glad I left when I did. I've got a busy day ahead of me.
I'm honored to know such talented people and am a big supporter of their work, it's just that I also know when I should just get out of their way and let the magic happen. I can't wait to see what they created, but my sitting off to the side playing word games on my phone wasn't helping anybody out. =)
