Moustache Night

A couple weeks ago, Jean Bardot swooped through town so we all met over at Anastasia's house to celebrate. Though I had to suffer through Madonna (again!) we had a whole lotta fun. It culminated in Mustache Night. We all had mustaches drawn on our fingers, with the excpetion of Ana and Liam who apparently like sharpies to mark their faces.

I love Ana and this photo is a good example why!

At various other points in the evening, we watched the best/worst movie ever, and Sonny Black had brought over one of his ball cages. At one moment, I was talking with Darenzia, and next thing I knew, Mina was inside the cage being pummeled by a fucking machine.

Mosh

I've been so busy lately, but not shooting much. I've been spending 14 hour days sitting in front of the computer working on websites, design, video and photo editing. It was a nice change of pace to get out of my usual schedule and into a photo shot. Yesterday, I picked Mosh up at her hotel and to our location for the shoot. She had so much awesome latex it was hard to choose, but we narrowed it down to 7 of her outfits, plus a couple that I had brought along. For some reason, though, the day just flew by and we had to cut way back. Oh, let me just mention right here that I love her dedication to extremely high heeled shoes.

I'm looking forward to working with her again in the future....

30 days

The other night, I spent a rare few hours on the couch catching up with Tivo. I got so angry watching 30 days that I went to bed fuming.

In that episode of the very interesting documentary series, they had this Mormon cunt from Orange County (she was adopted as a child and had two adopted children of her own) go to live with a same-sex couple in Michigan. These two wonderful guys had adopted four boys as well (one of them a "special needs" child).

The purpose of the episode was to challenge the cunt's view of same-sex couple adoption. She believes that it's morally wrong for gays or lesbians to adopt children. Despite experiencing the loving, nurturing environment the two men had created, meeting their friends and family, attending support groups and seeing other children loved by gay parents, she was not having it. She kept spewing her hateful rhetoric, constantly contradicting herself and just reinforcing the fact that religious fuckheads will be the downfall of this world.

I mean, they even had her meet with two adults from the area who had been foster children. They told her about how horrible it was to live in group homes, the devastation of being shuttled from one uncaring family to another. They expressed their misery as children and explained to her that they would have loved to have been adopted and it wouldn't have mattered if the adoptive parents were gay, straight, black, white, or anything else. And yet, this douchebag bitch basically said that all those foster children should go fuck themselves. That the only people who should be parents are married men and women.

I bet if she took her head out of her ass for a second and took a little peek down the street from her house, she'd find that a large proportion of the families were divorced. And if she looked further, she'd find terrible abuses and neglect perpetrated by those same straight mothers and fathers.

It drives me bananas. In the end, she was driven to tears and though she claims it's because she was being attacked for her morals, it was really because she's spent her life as a non-thinking sheep, following what she'd been told without ever questioning it. Being surrounded by proof that her teachings are utterly incorrect, she was frustrated to the point of meltdown. God forbid (literally) that she should have to face the real truth that her Christian ideologies are a bunch of bullshit.

Throughout the episode, she'd plaster this fake smile on her face and tell the gay fathers that it was "nothing personal". One of the men explained to her that it was "persona"l because she (and her ilk) wanted to legislate against adoption by same-sex couples. Cunt said that she had her morals and they had theirs and that each should do as they morally saw fit. Again, and with great patience, he demonstrated to her that though that would be ideal, she wanted to make it illegal, so that contradicts what she had just stated. And then, at the end of the show, she had the NERVE to be offended when he told her that he could not be her friend! How could anyone be friends with someone who wants to make their generosity and ability to love a child illegal?

Let me make it clear, here, that I am childless by choice. I do not wish to ever have children. I have neither the money, the patience, or the desire to do it. Though children are not for me, I applaud those men and women who so selflessly open their lives to children who are in need. They are the good guys. These religious zealots and their antiquated beliefs are the ones who are bringing this country and this very world to its knees. They should be ashamed.

I'll stop now though I could go on and on. It's been two days since I watched it and I'm still seething...

My other job

I've been designing websites for years. It had kind of slowed down recently, but I've been a busy bee lately. I have been working with Darenzia to revamp her site and to add some new ones for her, and I have to say, I'm pretty proud of the results.

First thing's first. I redesigned the index page of her site:

Then, just yesterday, I completed the design of her new blog. The old one was incorporated into her main site, but it was difficult to find, hard to navigate, hard for her to update, and you couldn't leave comments. The new one is bright, easy, and you can join her feed now.

I also created an affiliate site for D. This one's for webmasters to join so they can promote her website.

And, finally, as part of the affiliate program, I designed her new hosted galleries. You'll be seeing these pop up on TGPs and other blogs around the web.

It's been a couple years, but I managed to shoot Skin again yesterday. Shelby was kind enough to let us destroy her apartment (Skin and Martin were staying there). It was sweltering, but we had fun!

Experiment Results

I mentioned my experiment in the Geisha post below. I set out to see if you had to be a hot Asian girl to get a good deal on shoes. Well, I went to the same store as she did, tried on the same shoes, and showed absolutely no willpower by trying on a second pair as well. LOL

Both pairs were the same price and the shop girl said if I bought both that they'd give me a good deal. Well, when Geisha bought them, she paid 41% of the asking price. If I agreed to buy both pairs, their best offer was 63% of the list price. I told the owner that my friend had come in and bought them, told me about it, and that's why I was there. I told him what she paid and he said, "well, yes, i am giving you a deal!" I kindly did the math for him to no avail. It wasn't until I mentioned his hypocrisy, that my friend was a hot Asian model, that with a scowl, he relented.

Let's hear it for guilt and my new totally frivolous shoes! Weee!

MyFetishDiary.com - Revamped!

You may have noticed a change in the colors on my blog. I've changed things up to match my membership site.

I've been working for weeks on a new site design for my paysite, MyFetishDiary.com. There's a new color scheme and some new design elements, but the big change is in the backend. The whole site's been completely redone with a fancy shmancy PHP engine. The galleries will now be sorted into each category (in the past, if it had girls in latex and corsets, I'd have to choose one category. Now, that gallery will be displayed in both meaning you can more easily find what you're looking for), videos and photo sets can now be downloaded as zip files, and you can rate them as well. I'm still working out some of the kinks, namely, I have to go through every single gallery and specify which models are in each, and which categories they fall in. It's taking me for-fucking-ever.

I'm really excited about the upgrades and I know it'll make everyone's fetish porn experience that much better. LOL

Geisha

It's been a couple years but finally my schedule and Geisha's were in synch. I had her meet me at my friend, The Sack's, house. She was late, her makeup wasn't done, she'd lost her phone, and still it was a terrific day. Go figure. LOL

A little side note about how rad my friends are... I posted the photos above in the order we shot them. In the second to last set, she's wearing a tight corset, as you can see. When we'd finished and she removed her corset, she groaned with relief and said that she was happy to have it off as it was very restrictive and she was a bit tired after all of our shooting. I was providing the wardrobe for the last set and had the catsuit and boots ready for her. I spotted a shiny black pvc corset in my bag of goodies and asked if she wanted to wear that too. She told me that she couldn't resist corsets (duh)... "I don't know what it is about corsets, but when I see them I have to wear them!" That-a-girl!!

In addition to Geisha's smokin' hotness, I am in love with those red sparkly shoes. They're simply gorgeous. I had actually seen them before when Emily and Ruby and I were in SF, but they were really expensive. Geisha managed to get them for an amazing price at a store right near my house. So, today... AN EXPERIMENT. Let's see if you have to be a beautiful Asian girl to get a good deal on shoes, shall we? I'm off to find out now.

Mugler

If I weighed 98 pounds and had unlimited funds, I would wear nothing but Thierry Mugler. Back in the day, he was the king of fetish haute couture. Corsets and hobble skirts anyone? I still get chills...

Steffy!

It's been quite some time, possibly even a couple years, since I last saw Steffy the Rubber Doll. Actually, I haven't seen her since Rubber Ball in London in 2006. Marina St. Mark

After years of talking about it, Marina St. Mark and I finally shot together day before yesterday. Lemme tell ya... She was worth the wait! We spent all day together which was an added bonus. I really enjoyed getting to know her better. We met when she was the hostess of a club in Hollywood and have really only spent time together out at parties and a few smaller social gatherings, but this was our first chance for some one-on-one. She's awesome.

And gorgeous.

But I knew that all along.

I felt a little bit of pressure going into this shoot. Totally self-imposed. She has such beautiful photos by photographers I really respect, like Perry Gallagher, Michael Helms, and Steve Diet Goedde, I really wanted to live up to them. I needn't have worried, though. Marina was a joy to work with and the day went so well. I'm really pleased with the results.

She's been working for Fierce Couture and arrived with a ton of latex that she's designed and made for herself, all of it beautiful. We were on a roll and ended up shooting nearly everything she brought. The only non-latex was a beautiful corset by our friend Simone of Exquisite Restraint.

After shooting, we met my friend, Ruben, for dinner at my local Korean sushi restaurant where my opinion of Marina grew even stronger. That girl is an adventurous eater and that counts for a lot in my book... LOL

Yesterday, Gwen picked me up for a little excursion over to DomCon. Last year I had a booth so I really appreciated the fact that we could just breeze in and out. We saw the aforementioned Simone, plus Jean Bardot, Anastasia Pierce, Jeweel Marceau, Mistress Minax, Jody Cortes, and my pal Mistress Zoe from Arizona. It was nice to hang out with everyone, and interesting to see some of the same faces from last year, in the same fetish attire, doing the same things. LOL Honestly, there's a man who walks around with a video camera on the end of a pvc pipe, the camera hovers an inch or two above the floor and he video tapes women's shoes as they walk by. Or the pair of sissies wearing the same pink and black maid outfits they pranced around in last year. Those fetishists have got their sexuality completely dialed in and I'm sure next year I'll recognize them once again. =) It's terrific that we live in a time when they are able to express their sexuality so freely. It may not be my thing, but I'm happy that they have a safe outlet and are free to be themselves with a minimum of judgement.

I found it interesting that the event was held at a major hotel on Mother's Day. Upstairs, in the lobby, were countless families, mothers dolled up for their big day, kids running around screeching, and perverts in black pvc and latex. I felt kind of bad for the families because I bet they had a lot to explain to their kids.

I didn't make it out unscathed. I ended up dropping some serious cash at the Huse booth. Their electrical toys were too good to pass up. Can't wait to use them!

January and Scar

I had a shoot booked a while ago for yesterday but everything seemed to fall apart at the last moment. The makeup artist flaked. One of the models flaked. But we pulled it together at the last minute. January was still in and I arranged for Scar to join us. We met over at my friend's house and shot for most of the afternoon. The world needs more of those two together. =)

Visits and revisitation

My friend, Raymond, is here visiting from NYC. I haven't seen him in years, since my last trip to New York, actually. We've been close for over a decade, our friendship having been forever sealed by countless marathon games of canasta, and I do miss him all of the time. Last night we drove way the fuck out to Pomona to see Love and Rockets. It was like my old friend and I were visiting my other old friends. The oldest concert t-shirt I own (well, that I actually bought at a show) is my Love and Rockets t-shirt from 1985 when I saw them at the Palladium in Hollywood, opening for Siouxsie and the Banshees. Despite the drive, problems with the sounds system, and the weird all-ages (no bar) venue, they were great. All of my favorite old songs were sung and I was so completely happy.

I guess my friends and I are getting to be of a "certain age". All of my favorite bands when I was a teenager are starting to tour again and I'm so down for the reunion bandwagon. Bauhaus started touring again a while ago, and I've seen Soft Cell, The Creatures, English Beat, I have tickets for Yaz. Last year there was this 80s concert at the Hollywood Bowl with ABC, The Psychedelic Furs, and Human League (who were spectacular, btw)... It's been amazing to see all of the acts I missed the first time around, if slightly sad. I'm not THAT old, and they're all older than me. Kinda odd seeing old men playing that don't fit my mental images, but I'm still going.

I'm looking at the LA Weekly and there are upcoming shows with Alien Sex Fiend, Specimen, Duran Duran, The Police, Elvis Costello, DI, etc. etc. I remember when K.C. and the Sunshine Band started touring years and years ago and how sad and funny we thought that was; bloated old guys in sparkly shirts and all. Is this the same thing? Kinda, huh?
